My journey as an art educator began in 1978 when I earned a bachelor’s degree in art education at the University of Colorado. For many years, I worked as a teacher, a graphic designer and a practicing fine artist. Then in 2010, I enrolled in the graduate art education program at the University of Northern Colorado. After I completed my MA in 2013, I opened a studio in my home, where I offer a variety of enriching fiber arts classes to adult and teenage students, as I continue to evolve as a practicing fine artist myself.
I believe that art reveals our strengths and forgives our weaknesses. It is a visual expression of our personal story, spirit and heart. Art for art’s sake can help you discover parts of yourself you’ve never met before! In my studio, I strive to provide a safe and creative atmosphere where students can explore and flourish. My goal is to help all my students find their creative voices, whatever form that may take.
Nothing thrills me more than to see a student’s eyes light up when they have made something beautiful! Come to my studio and discover YOUR artist within!
All classes are held at the Full Circle Fiber Arts Studio near Boulder, Colorado
